AC Induction servo motor
Induction servo motor is also called inverter servo motor(AC Servo Motor). The shape is divided into aluminum frame and laminated frame. It can be used with encoder for speed detection to achieve closed-loop control. It cannot be started directly from the mains but needs to be started with an inverter.

The characteristic of induction servo motor has a constant torque below the rated power, and a constant power above the rated power makes it more stable than the starting torque provided by normal induction motors. It also reduces a lot of unnecessary energy consumption, because use the inverter could directly start.
Due to the small inertia of the induction servo motor, it is easy to start and stop, no carbon brush, no maintenance, no magnet, no need to regularly detect the magnetic pole position. Currently, it has been widely used in large starting torque or energy-saving industrial machines. Currently, the induction servo motor horsepower is above 0.75kw, and the maximum can reach to 1100kw.
