The magnetic field generated by the stator of the permanent magnet synchronous servo motor attracts the different poles of the rotor magnetic field. Since the magnetic field generated by the stator rotates at a certain speed. Therefore, the rotor will follow the rotation speed of the stator magnetic field and rotate at the same speed. The characteristic is that the rotating magnetic field and the output shaft speed are the same (no slip) and are not affected by the power supply voltage.

Because the drive technology of the permanent magnet synchronous servo motor is through accurate phase control technology, it can improve energy conversion efficiency and reduce power consumption. Under the rapid increase of speed and efficiency, as long as the load of the motor is lower than its maximum torque, the speed will not be affected by the load to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
Synchronous servo motors are suitable for industrial machine that require more accurate positioning control and do not have a full load for long time. Also, it contains permanent magnets and cannot be used in an operating environment with high temperature for a long time.
